Who we are
We are the oldest private brewery still in existence in Munich and are one of the few breweries with our own barrel malting plant. At our locations in Landsberger Straße (administration/production), the Freiham logistics center, Gut Freiham, and the five depots throughout Bavaria, we employ around 500 people.
Our corporate philosophy rests on the three main pillars of quality, tradition and regionality. Environmental awareness is a decisive factor in each of these corporate goals. With considerable investments, we have repeatedly expanded the capacity of our brewery and kept our production facilities at the most modern level. The economical use of resources, the economically justifiable use of the best available technology, the continuous modernization of our vehicle fleet, and the consideration of ecological criteria in the selection of our suppliers are examples of a large number of the goals and measures we have set ourselves. Company pension plan: As an employer, Augustiner-Bräu Wagner KG pays an annual amount into a pension account. In addition, our employees are entitled to a company pension after a certain length of service.
Health and ergonomics: Since the health of our employees is important to us, we offer various health campaigns and health days in cooperation with our occupational health partner. This partner is also available to our employees as a company physician and carries out the mandatory and offered occupational medical examinations. We pay attention to the ergonomic design of workplaces, e.g. with height-adjustable desks as standard and provide free fruit, water as well as coffee.
