What do we offer you?

We offer you a varied and extensive training in promising professions. During your training, you will receive an attractive salary and full reimbursement of the cost of your public transport ticket. Our apprenticeships

Brewer and maltster (m/f/d)

Training period: 3 years, shortened to 2.5 years with intermediate school leaving certificate or Abitur. Attendance at vocational school in Munich with block instruction

Requirements: Qualifying secondary school certificate, intermediate school certificate or high school diploma Good grades in mathematics and the natural sciences Craftsmanship and technical aptitude.

This is what you will do during your training: In the craft occupation of brewer and maltster, you will learn the various production processes from barley reception to the bottling of beer as well as its serving and care. You will also learn about quality control and storage of raw materials and supplies, cleaning, preparation and operation of production equipment, as well as computer-aided control and monitoring of malting and brewing steps. Various analyses of malt and beer in each production step for purity and quality will be taught to you in our laboratories.

These are your prospects after the apprenticeship: After the apprenticeship, you have many options. You can work as a skilled worker, continue your education to become a master brewer and maltster or brewing and beverage technologist, or study to become a brewing and beverage technologist.

Industrial mechanic (m/f/d)

Duration of training: 3.5 years, with suitable prerequisites and good performance a reduction to 3 years is possible.

We cooperate with the company Krones AG in the training of industrial mechanics. Therefore, a large part of the practical training takes place at Krones in Rosenheim. The vocational school is located in Bad Aibling, you will be there one day per week.

Requirements: At least a qualifying secondary school diploma Interest in technology, mathematics and physics Craftsmanship and technical aptitude.

This is what you will do during your training: In addition to servicing and maintaining the mechanics of our machines and systems, your tasks will include overhauling assemblies as well as making parts, replacing defective parts and eliminating malfunctions. You are part of a team of specialists and contribute significantly to the trouble-free production of our machines and systems. This makes your tasks an interesting, challenging, varied and also responsible job.

These are your prospects after the apprenticeship: After your apprenticeship, you have a wide range of prospects. You can work as a skilled worker and qualify yourself through various training courses. You can also complete further training to become a master craftsman in metalworking, a technician or a technical business administrator. Once you have your master craftsman or technician in your pocket, it is also possible to study mechanical engineering.

Electronics technician for automation technology (m/f/d)

Training duration: 3.5 years, with suitable prerequisites and good performance a reduction to 3 years is possible.

We cooperate with Siemens AG in the training of electronics technicians for automation technology. Therefore, a large part of the practical training takes place at Siemens in Munich. The vocational school is also located in Munich, classes are held in blocks.

Requirements: A good intermediate school leaving certificate Interest in technology, mathematics and physics Craftsmanship and technical aptitude.

What you will do during your training: Your tasks will include analyzing and rectifying faults, replacing and repairing electronic assemblies, and making adjustments and parameter changes to our automated systems and machines. Furthermore, you will be able to plan and implement smaller projects on your own responsibility, such as drawing an electrical diagram or programming the PLC control system.

You are part of a team of specialists and contribute to the trouble-free production by our machines and plants. Your tasks will be interesting and varied, ranging from robot control and PLC-controlled systems to classic electromechanical contactor control.

These are your prospects after the apprenticeship: After your training, you can work as a skilled worker or gain further qualifications in various directions. These include further training to become an industrial foreman in electrical engineering, a state-certified technician or a technical business administrator. If you have successfully completed the master craftsman's examination or the technical school, you can also take up a course of study in your specialist field.

Professional driver (m/f/d)

Duration of training: 3 years. If you meet the requirements and perform well, you can shorten your training to 2.5 years. Attendance at the vocational school in Mindelheim (you can stay at the vocational school's boarding school during block instruction).

During the apprenticeship, you can obtain a truck driver's license as well as a car driver's license and a forklift license.

Requirements: Good secondary school diploma Physical fitness and ability to work under pressure.

This is what you will do during your training: To become a "real" Augustiner beer driver, you will acquire all the necessary driver's licenses (B, C1, C, C1E, CE, forklift license) during your training as a professional driver. You will also become familiar with the vehicle technology and the internal processes from the order to scheduling and the warehouse to loading. To ensure that you are well equipped for your future work, the delivery of our beer and other beverages in carriers and barrels, as well as the associated inventory for the catering trade and events (including the Oktoberfest), is naturally also an integral part of the training.

These are your prospects after the training: As a professional driver, you will later have access to various further training opportunities, e.g. as a certified master craftsman for road transport, state-certified specialist for freight transport and logistics, state-certified technician specializing in motor vehicle technology or specializing in traffic engineering, with a focus on traffic management.

However, the places are very limited and are not advertised, so we ask you to apply early.
